Explore "The Last Frontier" on a private custom tour, stopping where and when you want!  Come with me and let me show you my beautiful, wholesome town and hear about its not so wholesome history going back to the Last Great Gold Rush of 1898.  And the best part of my town is definitely the vast, scenic wilderness that lies just beyond.

In our time together, we’ll cross the border into British Columbia then drive a bit further into Canada's Yukon Territory.  We'll view beautiful glaciers, have a chance to drink from a waterfall, then see tremendous lakes and incredible mountains.  We’ll also be looking for wild animals!  We might see bears, eagles, mountain goats, sheep, caribou, porcupines, marmots or any of the many animals that call this forest home!  I can’t guarantee any sightings, as they are WILD animals, but it is rather common to spot a few.  We'll catch as much of the wildlife detail as possible with binoculars and telescope (even some kid sized binoculars for our young explorers).  My telescope is equipped with a smartphone adapter so you can try your hand at capturing shots of distant wildlife.  Imagine a photo of mountain goats precariously perched high atop the steep, rocky slopes.  This will be an exciting adventure for all of us!

 

And if you have children in your group--they are in for a very fun day! We'll keep them engaged throughout the trip with an interactive Scavenger Hunt and a game of "I Spy".  You also might want to add some of the other options that are specifically fun for kids.  These include activities such as playing with soft, cuddly future Iditarod puppies, taking a ride pulled by 14 well-trained sled dogs, or even crossing 65 feet above the white-water rapids of the Tutshi River on a suspension bridge.  There are also kid-sized treasures to take home that are sure to bring a smile,  I want this to be a trip your children will always remember.

Along the way, we’ll stop at some incredible view points where you can take memorable photos including the “Welcome to Alaska" sign and the "Yukon Border" sign.  I'd love to use your camera to take pictures of your group and capture those special moments for you.  Memories make the best souvenirs!  We can add even more to your adventure if you opt for the 7 hour tour.  For the young at heart, puppies and a dog cart ride always bring big smiles.
