3 Hour Tutshi Lake Private Custom Excursion

Explore "The Last Frontier" on your private custom tour, stopping where and when you want!  Come with me, and let me show you my beautiful, wholesome town and hear about its not so wholesome history going back to the Last Great Gold Rush of 1898.  And the best part of my town is definitely the vast, scenic wilderness that lies just beyond.  In our 3 hours together, we’ll cross the Canadian border into British Columbia, view beautiful glaciers, have a chance to drink from a waterfall, then see tremendous lakes and incredible mountains.

We’ll also be looking for wild animals!  We could possibly see bears, eagles, mountain goats, sheep, caribou, porcupines, marmots or many other animals that call this forest home!  I can’t guarantee any sightings, as they are WILD animals, but it is rather common to spot a few.

Time permitting, there is one optional stop at the Yukon Suspension Bridge (click here) This adventures requires payment at the location, but is very beautiful and a thrill to cross 65 feet above the white-water rapids of the Tutshi River on a suspension bridge.  If this interests you, we'll work together to create an itinerary prioritizing the sights that are most important to you.  I'll share my experience then make some recommendations so we can arrange a trip filled with amazing Alaskan adventures.

Along the way, we’ll stop at spectacular view points where you can take many memorable photos, including the “Welcome to Alaska" sign.  We'll fill your trip with fun adventures then have you back to Skagway in 3 hours.  Or if you're wanting to see more, and most importantly if time is available, an hourly charge could extend your trip up to the village of Carcross for lunch, the magnificent Emerald Lake, or some play time at the Tutshi Dog Camp.  It's all up to you.  This is your private custom tour.  Let’s explore together!

And if you have children in your group--they are in for a fun day!  We'll keep them engaged throughout the trip with an interactive Scavenger Hunt and a game of "I Spy".  With longer tours you can add some of the other options that are specifically fun for kids.  This includes activities such as playing with soft, cuddly future Iditarod puppies, or taking a ride pulled by 14 well-trained sled dogs.  There are also kid-sized treasures to take home that are sure to bring a smile.  We'll plan this together to ensure we have time to include everything that is important to you.  This is your private custom tour and I want it to be a trip your children will always remember!
